2. Its PURE GOLD for sick Euro-trash sleaze fans who can’t quite get passed the 80’s.
Without a slithering of doubts, Mario Landi’s ultra sleazy cheesy tasteless trash classico from Italy delivers big time on the shameless [guilty pleasure] entertainment front; in spades. Yes my schlock loving brethren, “Patrick Still Lives” after getting hit in the face with a brick that lands him in a coma under the care of his father a crazed doctor Sacha Pitoëff who is conducting weird experiments on patients at a Hospital/Estate. The same estate used in “The Nights of Terror aka Burial Ground” ’80 and “Nightmare Castle” ‘65. At the same time Mariangela Giordano, her male friend and a few other unfortunate suspects are lured to said estate, where they become fodder for the doctor who’s use Patrick Gianni Dei for bizarre and perverse revenge.

With little rhyme or reason the thread bare script to this ‘so called’ sleaze-a-thon sequel to the mild Austrian creeper “Patrick”, is entertainingly bad with more than liberal doses of flaunted flesh, abusive bitch slappin, masturbation, the astonishing floating eyes of terror with creepy green lights, as our hero Patrick uses his---chuckle inducing---telekinetic powers to raise a skirt, boil a guy in the pool, hook a guy in the throat, decapitate, electrocute, make dogs attack, the unforgettable car window death [I do believe we have a first here], and oh so much MORE. All of which is accompanied with a land slide of spaced out tonalities that bring to mind Andrea Bianchi’s “The Nights of Terror” that was also penned by writer Piero Regnoli. Recommended jaw dropping fun for sleazoid crowd.

And what may you ask [??], is Mariangela Giordano’s terrible fate this time? Let’s review she had her tit bitten off in “The Nights of Terror” aka “Burial Ground”, her leg sawed off in “Giallo a Venzia - Giallo in Venice” and here? Well let’s just say it gets much worse when she is graphically skewered in the vagina and out the mouth with a metal spear. [One could call it the ‘Granddad.., scratch that, Grandmother’ of all things skewered.] What else would you expect from the man that helmed the infamous brutal “Giallo A Venzia-Giallo in Venice”?

You can see this crusty critter in all its glory in this totally UNCUT 92 minute explicit adult version thanks to Shriek Show DVD in Italian with English subs. Also available in the cut by 7 minutes [why bother] edited/general 85 minute version. The print is more than adequate framed at 1.78:1 boasting bright colors all around.
