Quote from the back of the DVD. “In 1974 Tobe Hooper unleashed a film that was an intense study of homicidal madness and psychological terror. It has since become a cult phenomenon and the most successful Indie horror films ever made. This is the first ever comprehensive documentary of the making of this film.” Unquote.

A film by Brad Shallady this 64 minute C-H-A-I-N S-A-W documentary is a real cool deal for fans of the SAW. In fact having the film without this Documentary is like having a chain saw with no gas. This informative piece features in depth interviews with stories and thoughts and the grueling conditions of the shoot from cast members Gunnar [Leatherface] Hansen, Edwin [The Hitchhiker] Neal, John [Grandpa] Dugan, and Jim [The Cook] Siedow. Including footage from the film and never before seen production photos. Trailer, Documentary Trailer, Trivia and out of place Previews for Angel of the Night, Lady in the Lake and Death Mask.

Made in 1988 it was Digitally Re-mastered and Re-mixed here on MTI Home Video DVD in 2000.
So join in the macabre fun and hear and see the making of a horror nightmare.

I got to meet Edwin Neil at Texas Frightmare Weekend and he was a very nice guy and he sold me a original a 1 sheet for William Lustig’s awesome and disturbing “MANIAC”. And to answer your question Edwin, No I do not like Headcheese.

Another must have item is of course a T-shirt. Here’s one of the 2 I have.

Definately a favorite down here in Texas
