Dark Sky Films have released the DVD and Blu-Ray info for their upcoming release of Ti West's film. The street date for both the DVD and the Blu-Ray is February 2nd. They'll sport the following features:

In the original, a woman is abducted, brutally attacked and raped and then left for dead. She survives, hunts her attackers and dispatches them in graphic ways. Director Steven Monroe talked a bit about upping the ante.

Paul Naschy has passed away after a fight with cancer. He was 75

I had the honour of meeting Mr Naschy back in 1994 when he made an appearance in London,England - a charming and sincere man who was pleasantly surprised at how well received his films were outside of Spain.

My condolences to his family.

The third film in the trilogy, now entitled BLOODRAYNE 3 BLOODHAMMER, will begin shooting this January with Kristanna Loken back in the lead role. Here's the official synopsis coming from Dimension Films. The re-telling of Clive Barker's classic horror masterpiece. A December 29th date is rumored for Fox Home Entertainment's Blu-ray and DVD release. No further details are available. Penned by Diablo Cody, the story of a cheerleader (the dropdead gorgeous Megan Fox) who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. Principal photography began yesterday on LET ME IN, writer/director Matt Reeves’ adaptation/remake, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. An alienated 12-year-old boy (Kodi Smit-McPhee) befriends a mysterious young newcomer (Chloe Moretz) in his small New Mexico town and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood. The film is based on the bestselling vampire novel, Lat den Ratte Komma In, by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, and is an English-language remake of the highly acclaimed Swedish film of the same name.

The director of BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR is coming up with a 3D horror film. Celsius Entertainment is taking the film out to potential buyers at the American Film Market. Michael Paré, Janna Fassaert and Francis Magee star and are part of a marine research expedition. They travel to the exotic Sumatran Sea and encounter a supernatural prehistoric creature resurfacing with a vengeance. It was shot in Stereoscopic 3D and polarized for release in Real D or Dolby 3D.
