Hello and welcome to my website,my name is Jason Crawley and this site is an expansion of a page i made on MySpace back in March 2008 which has the same title *Tomb Of Bloke* ..I made that page with the intention of meeting other people whos lives have been affected by the Horror genre and between the time that i started it and now i have met some amazing people who share the same love i have for Horror films..whether it be a modern day gore fest or a classic Universal Monsters film or somewhere inbetween.
My all time favourite film is George A Romeros Dawn of The Dead (1978).I've lost count over the years how many times i've seen this masterpiece and in March 2008 i got to meet the man himself at HorrorFind in Baltimore,Maryland.You can see this meeting in the video section of this site.It was a day i will never forget.

Another day that ranks up there too as being a moment to never forget was back in 1994 when i got the chance to meet the Italian Gorefather himself,Lucio Fulci who unfortunately passed away in 1996.That was when i was still living in England when he was special guest at Eurofest 1994 Part 2 in December.

The Eurofest events were a major attraction to horror fans in England back in the 90's with other guests in attendance being Paul Naschy,Joe D'Amato,Jean Rollin,Jess Franco,Ruggero Deodato,Nacho Creda,Andreas Schnass,David Warbeck,Catriona MacColl,Fred Olen Ray,Michelle Bauer,Brigette Lahae..the list goes on and this event was the highlight of the Horror calender each year.

The name of this site and my MySpace comes from the fact that i am known to just about everyone as Bloke and that came about as i am a Brit living in the USA.I lived in England for 33 years but moved to Virginia in 2003 after i met my wife Mary online in a chatroom..Yeah it does happen people!!! :)
People would be coming up to me at work and asking me what different English words and phrases meant and after i told them that a bloke is a man or blokes means men the name stuck and its rare to find anyone actually calling me by my real name here now!

You will also find a lot of information here about Virus Comix,a company created by artist Ju Gomez which i am now a part of doing writing and lettering for the books.There's even a Tomb Of Bloke comic if you'd like to check it out drawn by Ju and featuring myself as the lead zombie character!
